Vick To Play in Pro Bowl & Super Bowl?

Two years ago, Michael Vick was sitting in a federal prison watching his career head down the drain after he decided that dog fighting was a better direction to take than concentrating upon being an outstanding NFL quarterback. However, he now leads the NFL Pro Bowl votes and is guiding the Philadelphia Eagles to an 8-4 season, meaning the 2011 Super Bowl predictions suggest he could play in that game too.

Despite receiving boos from fans of the Eagles when he was first signed, Vick has now become a true favourite as he shows why he was so highly rated before his enforced absence from the NFL. With his speed, and his ability to stay calm and focused in the pocket, Vick has helped to propel the Eagles into a position where they now look likely to end the regular season as one of the top two NFC play-off seeds and the Super Bowl 2011 betting odds reflect this.

Although this may be a good start, football fans know that the real crunch time during which players need to be at their best is the play-offs, where one bad performance can leave teams with their season in tatters. If Vick is to show that he is capable of competing with the likes of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, he will need to display the kind of form that these two have done in the post season, which has of course led both of these model professionals to pick up Super Bowl rings.

Vick is yet to play in a Super Bowl, but he has never had a better opportunity to win the chance to show the NFL that he really can be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Whether he can take it may determine how he is perceived in years to come.
